  • I was randomly locked out of my iCloud account last night, which is a bit disconcerting. Still don’t know the cause. I ended up resetting my password and forcing all devices to logout. Given all my Apple gear, this is going to take weeks to get everything back to normal.

  • Testing out the new mastodon cross-posting support on micro.blog. I’m still not sure where everyone has landed etiquette-wise on cross posting.

  • Fountain is shut down for the season I guess!

  • My weekend new toy. “Hey Siri, turn the lights red.”

  • “Oh my god”

  • Someone is happy in their sunbeam.

  • Someone has their learner’s permit! Took a few spins around the fairground and it wasn’t nearly as nerve-wracking as I had feared. He was much better about not riding the brakes than I was starting out.

  • My brother-in-law is a prof at UCLA, and working to preserve their Betamax collection of local news broadcasts. I’d appreciate any help on his crowdfunding spark.ucla.edu/project/1…
